Smith & Wesson No 2 "Old Army" Revolver

.32RF. 6" ribbed barrel. SN: 40477 (mfg. ca. 1865). Blued finish, color casehardened hammer, smooth varnished rosewood grips. Single action spur trigger tip up revolver with six-chambered un-fluted cylinder, fixed extractor under barrel, notch rear sight and German silver blade front sight. Standard barrel address marking and cylinder patent marking. Matching serial number in right grip as is correct. Alphanumeric mating mark HH4 on left of frame under grip, mating marks on rear web of barrel and face of cylinder obscured by flash erosion. Hinge pin screw missing with crude screw and nut repair and replacement. {ANTIQUE}
