Lot Description

Restored 1st Generation 7.5" Colt Single Action Army .45 Colt Revolver with HH Heiser Tooled Holster

.45 Colt. 7.4375" barrel. SN: 66651 (mfg. ca. 1881). Blued and color casehardened finish, smooth one-piece walnut grip. Single action black powder frame revolver with loading gate and ejector rod, six-chambered fluted cylinder, top strap groove rear sight and German silver blade front sight. No barrel address is present due to refinishing. Three date in three line patent marking on frame is weak for the same reason. Matching serial numbers on the frame, triggerguard, butt and on barrel under the ejector housing. No serial number present on the cylinder, although a small P and what appears to be an H, likely factory inspector marks, are present on the rear face. No assembly number on loading gate. Ejector rod with later period, incorrect kidney shaped head. Front sight blade replaced. Revolver is accompanied by a floral tooled Mexican loop type holster with double buckle loops and a three line HH HEISER/MAKER/DENVER CO cartouche on the back and a model number of 754. {ANTIQUE}
