Weak one-line barrel address reads: L.W. POND WORCESTER, MASS. PAT'D JULY 10, 1860. Matching serial numbers throughout, including the grips. These revolvers were produced circa 1861-1870 in direct completion with the Smith & Wesson Model No. 2, and in direct violation of the Rollin White patent for the bored through cylinder, which had been assigned to Smith & Wesson.
