Grooved wood grip covered in shagreen with twelve wraps of multi-strand wire. Reverse ricasso with Clauberg maker's mark and logo. Blade etched with foliate, patriotic and martial themes with a large US as the central image on the reverse and a spread-winged eagle in a sunburst on the obverse. Includes a blued steel scabbard with engraved brass mounts and two suspension rings.
