A Mann's Patent Indian War Era Sword Belt and Two Sets of Detachable Saber Hangers
Indian Wars
Nominally 38" long by 1.75" wide with a cast brass M1851 Sword Belt Plate with applied German silver wreath. Plate bench marked 331, keeper with no marking noted. Two sheet brass D-ring mount fittings. Gaylord marked belt. Includes a set of Stuart saber hangers which were intended to be used with this pattern of belt, as well as a later M1903 set of saber hangers.
