Lot Description
Two Modern Fairbarin Sykes Commando Knives and a Theater Made Dagger
1) Fairbarin-Sykes Knife by Wilkinson circa 1980s. 6.75" double edged blued dagger blade, 11.375" in overall length. Blade with late 1980s era Wilkinson etching. Unmarked 2" oval guard, grooved cast hilt, spanner pommel nut. Includes a correct pattern brown leather scabbard.
2) "Theater-Made" knife, of indeterminate age or origin in the general style of a 19th century naval dirk. 5.75" tapered dagger blade with median ridge, full tang and measuring 10" in overall length. 4.25" hilt with cast brass guard, smooth wood grip scales and rudimentary skull crushing integral pommel cap. Includes decorated brass scabbard with single suspension ring.
3) Post WWII era Sheffield made Fairbarin-Sykes Knife of indeterminate age. 6.75" double edged blued dagger blade, 11.375" in overall length. 2" oval guard marked SHEFFIELD/ENGLAND, blackened grooved cast hilt, flat pommel cap. Includes a correct style black leather scabbard.
