Right receiver ring is struck MA/LITHGOW/S.M.L.E./III*/1941, indicating it was made in Australia by Lithgow in 1941. Receiver displays a {Crown/Crossed Flags/L/P} mark, while the bolt handle shows a nonmatching serial number and {Crossed flags} stamp. Bayonet lug struck BA on the lower surface.
