1) SH Young contract Civil War era white buff leather musket sling. Nominally 44" in length and 1.2" wide. With one standing loop, one sliding loop and a brass hook for length adjustment. Sling punched with five holes. An inspection cartouche is present as well. These were contracted for by the Ordnance Department for use in the Grand Review march in Washington DC and are not Mississippi Rifles as they are often advertised as being.

2) Carbine Sling. Leather is nominally 58" in length, 1.45" wide with a square brass adjustment buckle and a snap swivel that is 1.85" wide and 8.75" long. Sling with riveted brass tab at end. Both sling and swivel are Rock Island Arsenal marked.

3) Carbine Sling. Leather is nominally 52" in length, 1.6" wide with a clipped corner brass adjustment buckle and a snap swivel that is 2.1" wide and 9" long.
