Remington Model 1875 Revolver in .44-40

.44-40. 7.5" barrel. SN: 597. Blued finish, color casehardened hammer, smooth walnut grips. Single action, solid frame cartridge revolver with six-chambered fluted cylinder loading gate, lanyard ring in butt, frame notch rear sight and pinched blade front sight. Barrel marked with one-line left hand address that reads E. REMINGTON & SONS. ILION, N.Y. U.S.A. Serial (assembly) number 597 on left of frame under grip, no other parts are numbered.
