Initialed and dated, "C.J.D./ 177?," watercolor on paper, framed, backed with paper bearing a few old labels including a label inscribed in ink, "The Gift of Elizabeth Doughton (?) to her Young Friend Gertrude Butler Cyze/ May 3rd, 1839," and two printed paper labels reading, "By John Downman" and "Hodgkins Collection."
