3 parts in 2 volumes, small 4to. Engraved portrait frontispiece, 30 engraved plates (most double-page and folding). (Dampstained throughout, mainly in first volume.) Contemporary calf, single gilt rule frame, spines in 6 compartments with 5 raised bands, gilt-lettering in second, others gilt, red speckled edges (spine ends repaired, first volume rebacked preserving original spine). Provenance: Phillip Carteret Webb (1702-1777), English barrister (armorial bookplate); Henry and Carol Faust (bookplate).
