Contemporary half calf, spines in 6 compartments with 5 raised bands, morocco lettering-pieces gilt in 2, edges stained red (some splitting to a few joints, boards rubbed). Provenance: notations in a contemporary hand on vol.1 front free endpaper; old ink library stamps of Wolfenbuttel Gymnasium on front free endpapers.
