[BOOKPLATES]. A large group of armorial and modern bookplates, ca. 18th-20th centuries.
Approximately 5,000 bookplates, primarily armorial and displaying various themes including medieval chivalry, memento mori, and others. Prominent names include Anthony Trollope, C.R.L.E. Harvey, Walter Cave, John Brainerd Capper, and Louise J. Sassoon. Most loose with some housed in binders and photo albums. Condition generally fine.
