12mo (168 x 114 mm). 32 chromolithographic illuminated leaves. (Very light spotting or marginal toning throughout.) Original morocco-backed papier-mâché boards, all edges gilt (very light cracking); modern folding case.
Parables of Our Lord was among the first of the papier-mâché bindings to be designed by Henry Noel Humphreys.
