Partially printed document signed ("John C. Palmer"), 6 September 1872. 1p., folio, on Navy Department letterhead, accomplished in manuscript. Orders for William Grier to report to Surgeon General Palmer. -- BARROW, John. Autograph letter signed ("John Barrow"), to Captain Dillon, n.d. 1p., 8vo, old folds. Did not receive the captain's letter until long after his departure. -- GREELY, Adolphus Washington. Cut signature ("AW Greely"), 20 November 1886. On cardstock. -- DuCHAILLU, Paul Belloni. Autograph letter signed ("Paul de DuChauillu"), New York, 31 March 1897. 3pp., 8vo, old folds. -- NEWCOMB, Raymond Lee. Clipped signature. With the caption: "Jeanette". -- And approximately 20 others, primarily autograph letters signed and clipped signatures, various dates spanning the 18th and 20th centuries, sheets 10 x 8 in. or smaller.
