London: Edited and Published by, and Engraved Under the Direction of, Edward Orme, 1819. First edition. Large 4to. With letterpress text, on watermarked paper dated 1811 and 1812. Illustrated with hand-colored aquatint frontispiece and 39 hand-colored aquatint plates, on J. Whatman watermarked paper, dated 1812 and 1816 (final plate bound as frontispiece). Contemporary three-quarter straight-grain morocco over marbled paper-covered boards, original printed paper cover label, spine lettered in gilt, morocco unevenly darkened, rubbing to boards and extremities; many edges untrimmed; armorial book-plate of Baron Massy, of Duntryleague in County Limerick, Ireland, on front paste-down; scattered soiling to text; offsetting from plates; light to moderate spotting to text leaves, heavier at rear.
