Lot Description

[Fine Bindings] [Gonet, Jean de] Tzara, Tristan. Entre-temps


(Paris): le calligraphe, 1946. First and limited edition, #180/300 numbered copies (from a total of 324), signed by Tzara and the illustrator, Henri Laurens. 8vo. Illustrated with an etched frontispiece and four plates by Laurens. Specially bound in black molded Revorim, with embossed blue and tan calf, red and grey spine ribbons with black nylon stitching; all edges trimmed; by Jean de Gonet, and signed and numbered by him on mounted red slip on lower front paste-down ("J. de Gonet n. 38/200").

In a superb binding by French designer and bookbinder Jean de Gonet, in his signature black moulded Revorim.
