(Browning, spotting and creasing to a few maps and leaves.) Contemporary tree calf gilt (rebacked to match). THE FIRST OFFICIAL ACCOUNT OF THE FIRST SETTLEMENT IN AUSTRALIA. FIRST EDITION, FIRST ISSUE, with the error on plate 16, and with pp. 122 and 150 misnumbered. Compiled from the official reports of Phillip's expedition to New South Wales, during which Phillip undertook a voyage of coastal discovery, culminating in a full survey of Sydney harbor.
