Lot Description

A Sino-Tibetan Bronze Figure of Manjusri 17TH CENTURY the bodhisattva figure depicted seated on a double lotus plinth, the right hand raised bearing a vajra, the left hand in vitarkamudra, wearing a draped dhoti, the naked upper body adorned with elaborate jewelry, the face cast with a serene expression underneath a peaked crown, all hair combed in a high chignon. Height 4 1/2 inches.
