FIRST EDITION, with the rare "Georgia Western Territory" map, not published in time to be included in all copies, which depicts the area that would eventually become Mississippi and Alabama. Morse's Gazetteer, one of the first published in the United States, includes descriptions of rivers and towns, as well as a "Statement of the Claims upon the Georgia Western Territory."
