Engraved frontispiece afer M. Vander Gucht, title printed in red and black within a double rule border, numerous woodcut and engraved diagrams, 42 engraved maps in text. (Lacking 23 leaves, some minor offsetting.) Contemporary calf gilt, edges sprinkled red (some wear, joints starting).Fourth edition. "Moll published a beautiful little map of 'The Isle of California, New Mexico, Louisiane, The River Misisipi, and the Lakes of Canada,' on which he crowded a vast amount of information -- as well as much misinformation" (Wheat).
