LATE QING DYNASTY
the finely worked red gauze robe decorated in gold thread with a multi-colourd design of dragons in pursuit of a flaming pearl amongst cloud scrolls and auspicious emblems, above lishui stripes, the border and large sleeves with similar decoration against a dark ground.
Length (collar to hem) 56 1/2 inches.
