A Chinese Red Ground Embroidered Silk Lady's Robe and A Lady's Skirt LATE QING DYNASTY worked with multi-colored threads in Peking knot and satin stitch depicting butterflies, fruits and floral sprigs against a vibrant red ground, the borders embroidered with floral scrolls reserved on a black ground, the large sleeves decorated with butterflies and blooming flowers against an ivory ground; the skirt with similar decoration.
