Lot Description

A Blue and White Porcelain Plate KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722) having shallow sloping walls, the interior centered with a roundel depicting various deer underneath a large pine tree, enclosed by further deer alternating flowering branches issuing from rockery, the underside bearing an apocryphal Chenghua six-character mark within a double ring in underglaze blue. Diameter 8 inches.
