Lot Description

An Empire Gilt Bronze Mounted Mahogany Gueridon EARLY 19TH CENTURY having a circular top with a molded edge above the plain frieze spaced with gilt bronze figural mounts cast to show two classically draped figures flanking a columnar pedestal and holding a laurel wreath, set on columnar supports raised on a concave tripartite base ending in paw feet. Height 31 x diameter of top 38 1/2 inches.
