Musaion. Nos. 1-12. Prague: Aventium, 1928-1929. -- [With:] Index to 1929-1930 issues -- Musaion: 1931.
4to (320 x 242 mm). Profusely illustrated. 13 issues bound in one volume, quarter leather, cloth-covered boards. An important run of the Czech Bulletin for Modern Art. The manifesto published in Czech, German, French and English, declares, in the first number, "Musaion, will recognize no national limits...we are starting to publish...in the belief that there should exist, in Central Europe, a cosmopolitan, independent review which would become a focus of positive creative forces." The first number is devoted to the work of Czech artist Jean Zerzavy, and other issues include reproductions of works by Juan Gris, Paul Klee, Brancusi, and Le Corbusier.
