Lot Description

A French Gilt Bronze and Slate Clock Garniture DIAL SIGNED G.J. LEVY, PARIS, CIRCA 1870 the clock surmounted by figures of a Roman senator and warrior after Eugene Laurent (French, 1832-1898) above the circular dial having Roman numeral hours and signed G. J. Levy/ Rue Sevigne 29/ Paris, each urn cast to show opposing griffins and masks in low relief, all raised on paw feet. Height of mantel clock 30 1/4 x width 22 1/4 inches.
