(Spines darkened, joints starting, some very minor chipping to joints and spine ends, Plato volume skillfully rebacked preserving original spine). A relatively early example from Coben-Sanderson's Doves Bindery. Cobden-Sanderson was responsible for all of the Doves Bindery designs; the bindings themselves were executed by his skilled staff, which included Charles Wilkinson, Charles McLeish, Bessie Hooley and Douglas Cockerell.
