Lot Description
PASTEUR, Louis (1822-1895). Autograph letter signed ("L. Pasteur"), in French, to Maileot. Paris, 1 February 1876.
1 page, 4to, lightly creased, small clear mounting corners to blank area. Pasteur writes Maileot about his attempt to secure him an assistant professorship. "I tried hard to find you a post among the assistants of the School, as you wanted; but at present the position pays too little and it offers little of a future."
