A Chippendale Mahogany Chest on Chest
BOSTON OR SALEM, MASSACHUSETTS, CIRCA 1770
possibly attributed to Abraham Watson, in two parts, the superstructure having a broken arch pediment with dentiled decoration and a twist-carved fluted finial above five graduated drawers flanked by fluted columnar pilasters, the base of serpentine outline and fitted with four graduated drawers, raised on claw and ball feet.
Height 87 3/4 x width 41 x depth 22 1/2 inches.
