Lot Description

A George III Satinwood, Rosewood and Marquetry Pembroke Table CIRCA 1780 the rectangular top having bowed edges and two D-form leaves opening to oval, the crossbanded and quarter-veneered top centered by a fan patera within an oval border inlaid to show anthemia, further enclosed by ribbon-tied bellflower swags, the single frieze drawer inlaid to show a flowerhead patera and bellflower swags, raised on square tapering legs headed by blind fluted inlay and ending in brass caps and casters. Height 28 1/8 x width 37 (open) x depth 27 1/2 inches.
