A Meissen Porcelain Pate-sur-Pate Four-Piece Clock Garniture LAST QUARTER 19TH CENTURY the mantel clock having a handled urn above the case centered with a circular dial with Roman numeral hours, the clock and similarly decorated rectangular base raised on lobed ball feet, together with a pair of covered urns each having a floral bud finial and lion mask handles above the body decorated in white slip to show a classically draped maiden and a cherub, each embellished with an elaborate pattern of foliate scrolls and flowers against a cobalt ground, with crossed swords in underglaze blue and incised numbers to the underside. Height of mantel clock with stand 19 7/8 inches.
