A Green Glazed Stoneware Jar EARLY TANG DYNASTY (618-907) the ovoid body supported on a short splayed foot, rising to a straight neck and a lipped mouth, decorated with two pairs of concentric bands, the shoulder applied with three double-stranded loop handles, covered with a translucent light olive glaze with areas of irridescence stopping irregularly above the foot. Height 5 1/2 inches.
