Profusely illustrated with numerous plates printed on India paper after original illustrations, facsimiles of original printed wrappers bound in, EXTRA-ILLUSTRATED by the addition of numerous original water color drawings after Kyd and others. Uniformly bound in full burgundy crushed levant, covers wtih elaborate foliate border gilt with red and green morocco onlays, spine in 6 compartments with 5 raised bands gilt-lettered in two, the rest with gilt and red and tan morocco onlay foliate pattern, board edges gilt, wide turn-ins gilt, green crushed levant doublures with central pink and red morocco onlay and gilt roses, mauve silk endpapers (spines slightly sunned, 2 x 2.5 cm diamond-shaped tear with loss to second compartment of spine of Pickwick Vol.III, tiny gouge in upper compartment of spine to Pickwick Vol.I, a few minor scuffs or light rubbing, primarily to raised bands, spine ends or extremities of a few volumes, but otherwise in good condition). LIMITED EDITION, number 10 of 10 copies in different deluxe bindings and extra-illustrated of the "Edition de Luxe."
