Lot Description

A Renaissance Revival Walnut Server LATE 19TH CENTURY in two parts, the superstructure having a molded stepped cornice above the frieze carved to show a fruit-filled urn flanked by swags simulating drapery in relief, above the central door carved to show a draped maiden driving a chariot in a mountainous landscape in relief, flanked on each side by a door carved to show a cornucopia among foliate scrolls in relief, the base fitted with three aligned drawers above three paneled doors, the central door carved to show a satyr mask among cornucopias and foliate scrolls in relief, the flanking doors carved to show foliate scrolls in relief. Height 105 1/2 x width 36 1/2 x depth 22 inches.
