having an eagle finial above the circular dial with Roman numeral hours signed E. Howard & Co./ Boston, the lower tablet reverse-painted to depict a naval battle marked Sept. 10 Perry's Lake 1813 Victory Erie, all above the fluted bracket with beaded decoration.
