A Flemish Silk and Wool Tapestry Depicting The Story of Duchy of Brabant BRUSSELS, EARLY 17TH CENTURY depicting Emperor Frederick I, Holy Roman Emperor, crowning a kneeling Henry I the first Duke of Brabant, flanked by attendants, a basilica interior in the background, the border worked to show cornucopias, shells and a lion mask before a shell and stylized dolphins, with grotesque masks at the corners. 12 feet 6 inches x 14 feet 3 inches.
