A German or Austrian Burl Walnut and Marquetry Secretary Bookcase 19TH CENTURY in two parts, the superstructure having a molded curved crest flanked by scrolls and foliate decoration above two shaped doors carved to show rocaille and foliate scrolls in relief and opening to a shelved interior, the base fitted with a slant-front above three long drawers of serpentine outline, raised on bun feet. Height 88 1/2 x width 40 5/8 x depth 21 inches.
