Lot Description
A Sino-Tibetan Gilt Bronze Figure of Bodhisattva Vajrasattva
the deity depicted seated in dhyanasana behind a vajra on a double lotus base, the hands raised and crossed in front of his chest one holding an upright vajra and the other bearing a ghanta, wearing a loose dhoti and the naked upper body adorned with beaded jewelry with minor hardstone insets, the face cast with a calm expression below a peaked crown, all hair painted blue and pulled to a high chignon.
Height 8 inches.
