A Suit of Warrior Armor EDO PERIOD (1603-1868) comprising an iron semi-spherical helmet bowl (kabuto); a red lacquered iron whole face mask (menpo) with tiered iron plate throat guard connected by green and red braid; a two-piece cuirass (do) laced with green and red braid; two lower arm guards with iron plates following the profile of the arms; two shoulder guards (sode) also laced with same color braid; two thigh guards (haidate) of closely laced lacquered iron rectangulars; together with two fitted boxes. Height of cuirass 29 inches.
