A Carved Apple Green and Celadon Jadeite Brush Washer, Xi LATE 19TH/EARLY 20TH CENTURY the translucent stone carved in the form of a large furled lotus leaf with three small ducks perched on top, the sides carved with lotus blossoms and branches with an additional duck rest atop, the underside having a network of stems, raised on a fitted reticulated hongmu stand also in the shape of a lotus leaf with a lotus flower, a lotus pod and a rice stalk to the sides.
