AN INTRIGUING ASSOCIATION COPY: George Curtis, a noted orator, delivered his "Doctrine of Liberty" address to the Phi Beta Kappa society at Harvard in 1862 on behalf of President Lincoln encouraging support of the Emancipation Proclamation.
