Publisher's red cloth (hinges just starting, some light wear or soiling). Second edition. Though the number of plates varies, the present copy has the highest complement suggested (16); the caption for the plate facing p.40 reads: "First White Child Born in Cherokee." Freeman's work includes social history, and information about teh Native Americans and Oklahoma. See Howes F-353.
