A Celadon Jade Inset Rosewood Ruyi Scepter QING DYNASTY the rosewood handle densely carved with striding dragons chasing the flaming pearls of wisdom amidst ruyi clouds, inset with three jade plaques, the largest one having a relief carved decoration depicting two scholars gazing at the sun underneath pine trees in a mountain setting, the middle plaque showing a sage seated in a pavilion underneath trees, the third one with a mountain scene, having gilt mounts and pink silk cords connected to the end.
