Three Carved Hardstone Snuff Bottles the first a rectangular malachite example, convex on one side, the convex side carved in relief depicting a woman with flowing robes carrying a flute, the reverse carved in relief depicting a boy playing with a bird, with matching stopper, the second an agate example of flattened disk form raised on an oval foot, of yellowish-brown body with milky white and iridescent orange bands, one side depicting a peach carved in relief, the third an opal example of flattened shield form, having a milky white body with iridescent and light gray inclusions, carved on one side to depict a man and a boy beneath a flowering tree. Height of tallest 2 3/4 inches.
