Four Hardstone Snuff Bottles the first of rounded form on a raised oval foot, carved to one side depicting a fisherman sitting patiently in a river boat surrounded by reeds and trees, the reverse depicting a similar setting with a man reaching for a fish caught on the end of his fishing line, the second a flattened yellow stone with brown areas, of rounded rectangular form, with matching stopper, the third a dark pink stone example of flattened shield form raised on an oval foot, decorated on each narrow side with a carved mask and ring handle, with matching stopper, the fourth of mottled black and pink stone of flattened ovoid form having an oval footrim, carved in relief on one side, depicting a bird in flight and a flowering plant, with pink stone stopper. Height of tallest 3 inches.
