A George III Inlaid Mahogany Breakfront Bureau Bookcase CIRCA 1780 the arched pediment centered by a coat of arms with bellflower garlands above a pierced dentil and arch molded cornice over a banded and paterae inlaid frieze, having four glazed doors with geometric molded-edge mullions enclosing a silk-lined interior, the lower section having a secretary drawer opening to an arrangement of valanced cubbyholes over drawers flanked by four graduated stringed drawers above two doors flanked by two drawers over doors, all with oval banded fronts, set on a plinth base. Height 8 feet 2 inches x width 7 feet 2 1/2 inches x depth 23 inches.
