A Sevres Style Porcelain Table Casket of cartouche form, having a white ground and polychrome gilt highlighted borders with rocaille motifs and floral cartouches, the domed hinged lid painted to show figures in a landscape and signed Watteau, the similarly decorated sides painted to show various landscapes, having a crossed swords mark in underglaze blue to the underside.
