Two Hardstone Snuff Bottles the first a celadon and russet jade example, of flattened rectangular form, both sides carved to show archaic vessels, having an amethyst cover; the second an agate example carved to depict a monkey sitting on rockery under trees besides a butterfly in flight, having a red coral cover; both bottles having gilt metal mounts and inscribed on the mouth rims with PASQUE, 7, RUE, DE LA PAIX. Height of taller 3 1/2 inches.
