A Lacquer Writing Box, Suzuribako, and Matching Document Box, Ryoshibako of rectangular form with rounded corners, lacquered in takamaki-e, hiramaki-e, kirikane, the front of the cover decorated with a flowering prunus tree amongst rockery and leafy plants, the reverse with maple leaves, the interior set with a removable implement tray centered by a rectangular inkstone beneath a silver water dropper, mizuire; the large document box of rectangular form, decorated similarly.
